Posts and Disciplines

• Chemical operations: Foremen supervise process work, while Operators handle routine plant operations and production checks. The trainee stream gives a supported entry route for the identified disability category.
• Civil works: The Foreman role supports site upkeep, measurements, contractor coordination and maintenance of plant infrastructure.
• Instrumentation: Foremen and Technicians work with control instruments, field devices, calibration records and fault tracing.
• Electrical maintenance: Technicians support electrical equipment, wiring, isolation and preventive maintenance in an industrial setting.
• Mechanical maintenance: Technicians and trainees work with fitting, rotating equipment and day-to-day mechanical upkeep.

Post-wise Duties

Foremen

You will guide technicians and operators, coordinate jobs with other plant teams and keep safety, quality and maintenance records in order. The discipline decides whether your focus is process, civil or instrumentation work.

Operators and Technicians

You will run or maintain assigned systems, watch equipment condition, report abnormalities and support safe shift operations. Electrical, instrumentation and mechanical staff will also carry out planned checks and help restore equipment after faults.

Junior Superintendent and Accounts Assistant Trainee

You will handle records, correspondence and computer-based workflows for HR or accounts administration. Accuracy, document control and timely coordination with employees and departments are central to these office roles.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Probation: Regular appointees begin with a one-year probation period under company rules.
• Trainee route: The identified PwBD trainee roles carry at least one year of training before progression under BCPL rules.
• Qualification recognition: Your course must be recognised by the relevant university, technical-education or vocational-training authority; approved open and distance learning is accepted where the notice permits it.
• Experience counting: BCPL counts relevant work gained after the qualifying course. Course-based industrial, vocational or apprentice training does not count as post-qualification experience.
• Medical fitness: Appointment depends on meeting BCPL's post-specific medical and eyesight standards.
• Current employees: Government and public-sector employees should route the application properly or bring an employer NOC when called.
