Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) is recruiting Research Associate II staff for a government-funded project in its Department of Medical Sciences and Technology. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The first appointment is for one year. Any continuation depends on your performance and the Institute's decision; finishing the initial term does not create a right to extension or a permanent IITM post.
• Research focus: You should be comfortable moving between model development and applied health-data questions. The project may use both public and private datasets, so careful data handling and reproducible analytical work are central to the role.
• Screening: IITM may shortlist candidates by looking at qualifications, the relevance and level of previous work, and academic achievements beyond the minimum requirement. Meeting the stated minimum does not automatically guarantee a call.
