TMC Hemato-Pathology Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview

Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, is looking for a One Year Fellow in Hemato-Pathology at its Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCH&RC), New Chandigarh, Punjab. The opening comes through the hospital's Academics Department and is a fixed one-year fellowship that starts from your date of joining.

This is a good fit if you have an MD in Pathology and want focused training in blood cancers and haematological lab work at a dedicated cancer hospital. There is no online form — selection happens through a walk-in interview at the hospital. Only Indian nationals can apply.

Service Conditions and Caveats

Tenure: The fellowship runs for one year from the date of appointment. TMC may also offer a fixed-term appointment for one year on a consolidated salary.
Pay fixation: Where you land within the advertised pay range depends on the relevant work experience you gained after your MD.
Rotation: You can be moved to any TMC unit — Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai, ACTREC Navi Mumbai, Sangrur, Mullanpur, Visakhapatnam, Varanasi or BBCI Guwahati — when the units need it.
Government employees: If you work in a Central/State Government body, autonomous body or PSU, bring permission from your head of organisation, or you will not be allowed into the interview.
Shortlisting: TMC can set a minimum benchmark, such as marks in your degrees, to limit how many candidates are interviewed.
Accommodation: Shared housing may be given on a paid basis, only if rooms are available.
Reservation: Category reservation follows Government of India rules; if the post is treated as unreserved, reserved-category age relaxation does not apply.
Jurisdiction: Any legal dispute will be handled in SAS Nagar courts.

Report to the Academics Department, 4th floor, Wing C, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Plot No. 1, Medicity, New Chandigarh, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab 140901 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the interview day. Bring your resume, two passport-size photos, photocopies of all certificates and the originals for verification.
