Who Can Apply?

For Assistant Professor - Economics (CRPG):

• You need a Master's degree with 55% marks in Economics or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• You must have cleared UGC-NET/CSIR-NET or SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC 2009/2016 regulations (which exempts you from NET/SLET/SET, subject to conditions).
• Desirable: Ph.D. in Economics with a focus on financial economics, public policy or governance, and a strong record in quantitative research and teaching.

For Assistant Professor - Environment, Climate & Sustainability Studies (CCSS):

• You need a Master's degree with 55% marks in Environment, Climate and Sustainability Studies or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• You must have cleared UGC-NET/CSIR-NET or SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC norms.
• Desirable: Ph.D. in Climate Studies, Policy Studies, Environmental Studies, Energy Studies or Development Studies with an excellent academic and publication record.

• Candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 (QS/THE/ARWU world rankings) are also eligible.
• The post is unreserved, but candidates from reserved categories can also apply.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get an entry salary of Rs. 57,700 per month under Academic Pay Level 10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Institute rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:
