THSTI Technical Officer & System Admin Recruitment 2026

BRIC-THSTI, an institute under the Department of Biotechnology, is hiring 2 posts — one Technical Officer-II (Statistician) and one System Administrator (IT) — for its CEPI Centralized Network Laboratory in Faridabad. THSTI Technical Officer & System Administrator Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

The Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC), part of the NCR Biotech Science Cluster in Faridabad. Through Recruitment Notice THS/RN/09/2026, the institute has opened 2 short-term project positions under the CEPI Centralized Network Laboratory (Bioassay Lab). These are project-based contract roles and will be extended based on performance and the duration of the project. Women candidates are encouraged to apply.

Who Can Apply?

Technical Officer-II (Statistician)

• M.Sc. in Statistics / Biostatistics / Medical Statistics or an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university
• 2 years of post-qualification experience in assay validation data analysis, or analysing clinical trial and epidemiological study data
• Experience with statistical software, developing statistical analysis plans, and knowledge of clinical data management systems is needed

System Administrator (IT)

• B.Tech / Master's in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications or an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university
• 2 years of post-qualification experience in administration, maintenance and support of IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, networks, user access) in regulated environments such as clinical research, healthcare or laboratory settings
• Experience in system security, data backup, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and CSV is needed. LIMS and software validation experience is desirable.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 35 years as on the closing date (15 June 2026)
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 5 years for Central Government servants.
• PwBD: 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST).
• Ex-servicemen get relaxation to the extent of defence service plus 3 years (minimum 6 months attested service required).

Salary

• Both posts carry a fixed consolidated salary of Rs. 75,000 per month.
• These are short-term project positions with no claim for regularisation.

Selection Process

Selection is done in the following stages:

1. Scrutiny & Shortlisting: Applications are checked and shortlisted based on qualification and experience.
2. Written Test / Skill Test
3. Interview

If many applications are received, screening will be done to limit candidates to those with higher or more relevant qualification and experience.
