RVNL Manager (CSR) and CS Recruitment 2026: Overview

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Navratna public sector company under the Ministry of Railways, is hiring experienced professionals for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Company Secretariat (CS) teams at the Corporate Office in New Delhi. RVNL builds railway lines, metro systems, major bridges, tunnels and highways in India and abroad.

These are regular posts, not contract jobs. Every post needs prior work experience, so the drive suits people already working in a government office, a PSU, a metro company or a private firm who want to move to a listed central PSU.

Posts and Disciplines

• Manager (CSR), Vacancy No. 07/2026: an E-2 grade post for social work professionals who have handled CSR projects; based at the Corporate Office, New Delhi.
• Deputy Manager (CS), Vacancy No. 08/2026: an E-1 grade post for members of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) handling board and statutory compliance.
• Assistant Manager (CS), Vacancy No. 09/2026: an E-0 grade post for commerce graduates with CS, CA or CMA Intermediate, focused on investor and listing compliance.

All three posts are unreserved, and RVNL says the number of vacancies is provisional and may go up or down.

Post-wise Duties

Manager (CSR)

You will pick CSR projects that fit Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013, prepare the annual CSR plan and committee agenda, and track projects run with NGOs, field units and government agencies. You will also arrange impact studies, write progress reports and promote RVNL's CSR work through events and publicity.

Deputy Manager (CS)

You will organise Board, committee, AGM and EGM meetings, file returns with the Registrar of Companies, and keep the company compliant with the Companies Act, SEBI rules, insider trading norms and RBI rules on overseas investment. You will also prepare the BRSR report and handle unclaimed dividend and share transfers.

Assistant Manager (CS)

You will handle shareholder and investor queries, coordinate with the RTA, stock exchanges and depositories, and track SEBI and FEMA filings. You will also work with banks on overseas investment filings and help with dividend payments.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Surety bond: You must sign a bond of Rs. 4,00,000 plus GST to serve RVNL for at least three years, and give 90 days' notice before resigning.
• Probation: Regular appointees serve two years on probation.
• Transfer liability: Although the posts are at the Corporate Office, you can be asked to serve at any RVNL location or office.
• Counting experience: Only experience gained after the minimum qualification counts. Teaching, freelance, apprenticeship, internship and proprietorship work does not count.
• Grade of absorption: Only your substantive grade is considered when deciding the grade.
• Current employees: If you work in a government office, CPSE or metro company, apply through proper channel or with an NOC from your employer.
• Interview travel: No travel allowance is paid for attending the interview.
• Legal disputes: Any dispute falls only under the Delhi High Court.
