NBRC Project Associate-I Recruitment 2026: Overview
The BRIC-National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), a deemed university at Manesar, Gurugram (Haryana), is hiring one Project Associate-I for a research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT). The project studies the role of Pax6(+) cortical progenitors in the cause of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and it runs in the lab of Dr. Dhananjay Huilgol, the Project Investigator.
This is a project-based research job, not a regular NBRC post. It is a strong opening if you have an MSc in life sciences, biology or biotechnology and want hands-on work in developmental neuroscience and animal research. Hands-on lab skills in molecular biology, cell culture or biochemistry will give you an edge during shortlisting.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Tenure: The first term is one year, renewable for two more years if your performance review goes well. The post is co-terminus with the project, so it ends when the project ends.
- Pay terms: You get a fixed fellowship plus HRA. No other allowances are applicable.
- Accommodation: NBRC may give you campus housing as per its rules, subject to availability.
- Shortlisting: Meeting the minimum qualification does not guarantee an interview call. A Screening Committee shortlists applications, and its decision is final.
- No TA/DA: NBRC will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the interview.
- Project rules: Your contract follows the terms of the project and the rules NBRC applies from time to time.

This is a hard-copy application. Fill in the application form attached to the advertisement (items 1-4 in capital letters), paste a recent signed passport-size photo, and attach your CV and self-attested certificates.

- Fee payment: Pay by a Demand Draft in favour of 'Director, NBRC, Manesar', or pay online/UPI to the National Brain Research Centre account (A/c No. 915010023259375, IFSC UTIB0000720, IMT Manesar branch).
- Incomplete forms: An application without self-attested certificates is rejected without any notice.
