Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV), Rahuri has released a notification for 2 contractual posts — Research Associate and Field Assistant — at the Ajitdada Pawar Indigenous Cattle Research cum Training Center (APICRTC), Animal Husbandry & Dairy Science, College of Agriculture, Pune. Both posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project — meaning your engagement ends when the project tenure ends. The number of posts may increase or decrease based on project requirements. Who Can Apply?

For Research Associate (Rs. 61,000 - 67,000/month):

• Ph.D. Degree in Animal Husbandry, OR
• M.Sc degree in Animal Husbandry / LPM (equivalent) with 1st Division or 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA), plus at least 2 years of research experience as a Fellow, Associate, Trainee or similar
• Desirable: Experience in Livestock Production Management, Animal Nutrition and Animal Breeding

For Field Assistant (Rs. 18,000/month):

• Graduate in Agriculture Science, OR
• Diploma in Agriculture with at least 2 years of field experience
• Desirable: Field experience in university/State/Central Government managed projects, schemes or farms

Teaching or teaching-assistantship/training experience is desirable for both posts.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 40 years for men and 45 years for women for both posts.

Salary

• Research Associate (with Ph.D.): Rs. 67,000 per month consolidated + HRA as applicable
• Research Associate (with Master's degree): Rs. 61,000 per month consolidated + HRA as applicable
• Field Assistant: Rs. 18,000 per month consolidated

Selection Process

The selection will be done in these stages:

1. Screening: Your application is scrutinized against the eligibility criteria.
2. Interview/Written Examination: Only short-listed candidates are called for an interview or written examination. The date will be communicated separately by email or text message.
3. Document Verification: You must bring photo identity proof for verification at the time of the interview or written examination.

Note: These are purely temporary, project-based posts that are co-terminus with the "Ajitdada Pawar Indigenous Cattle Research cum Training Center" project. You will have no right to claim regularization or permanency. You cannot hold any other paid appointment during your engagement, and you may be required to work anywhere within MPKV's jurisdiction.
