IITGNRP Assistant Manager Recruitment 2026: Overview
IIT Gandhinagar Research Park (IITGNRP) is recruiting an Assistant Manager - Industry Engagement to help build connections between companies and the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. The Research Park was set up in 2017 as a Section 8 not-for-profit company to bring industry and academic research closer together. This is a contractual engagement focused on the park's relationships with businesses and the institute, including companies that already operate from the park and those considering joining.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial appointment: The engagement lasts one year. An extension depends on your performance, so continued engagement is tied to the review of your work.
- Industry presence on campus: An increase in industry visits is one of the stated performance indicators. The notice therefore connects the role's results to how actively companies engage with the campus.
- Research offices: Performance is also measured by how many companies receive support to establish research and development offices in the park. This gives the engagement a specific focus on companies joining the Research Park.
- Consultancy links: New consultancy projects involving industry and faculty form another measure of performance. The Research Park looks at the resulting collaborations as part of assessing the role.
- Industry events: The number of industry events held during a year is a further performance indicator. Together, these measures cover visits, research offices, consultancy work and events.
- Exceptional cases: IITGNRP may change or relax the stated requirements and appointment terms for exceptional candidates. The notice leaves that discretion with the Research Park.

- Visit companies and discuss their research and development needs.
- Speak with faculty, students and laboratory coordinators about possible industry collaborations.
- Organise industry-institute meetings and round-table discussions.
- Coordinate marketing material, social media posts and website updates.
- Identify companies that could establish offices in the Research Park.
- Connect companies already in the park with the institute's people and facilities.

BTech or BE, or MBA with an engineering background at undergraduate level.
वांछित योग्यता
Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, creativity, teamwork, time management and the ability to organise complex tasks and meet tight deadlines.
आवश्यक कौशल
Interest in marketing and technology management; understanding of industry operations and technical challenges; spoken and written English; MS Office and presentation skills.
