As a Senior Research Fellow, you will help design benchmarks and validation methods that teach AI models to understand this kind of mixed-language, multimodal content, spanning tasks like captioning, OCR, visual question answering (VQA), and named-entity grounding.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: M.Tech./M.S./M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline, with at least 60% marks or 7.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale)
• Qualifying Test: CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of research experience after obtaining your qualifying postgraduate degree
• Desirable Skills: Exposure to dataset validation and annotation quality assessment, experience with Python (NLTK, Anaconda, Jupyter), Git/GitHub, web development (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery), backend tools (Flask, Nginx, MongoDB, SQL, ElasticSearch), deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and prior ML/NLP project or publication experience

You should also be comfortable reading and understanding research papers, designing systematic experiments, and working both independently and as part of a research team — these are core parts of the SRF role on this project.

Salary
