The Research & Development Office of Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) has released advertisement number CON/10384/Advt0241 dated 1 July 2026 for one Post-Doctoral Fellow position. The role is under the project "Synthesis of Functional Organic Materials" led by Prof. Sriram Kanvah Gundimeda in the Chemistry department. This is a great chance for a fresh Chemistry Ph.D holder who wants hands-on research experience in organic synthesis of functional dyes at one of India's top technology institutes.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Ph.D in Chemistry.
• Marks: You need a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onward, and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.
• Desirable: Candidates with expertise in multistep synthesis / total synthesis are preferred.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 32 years old as on the last date of submitting the application.

Salary

• The selected Post-Doctoral Fellow will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 72,000 to Rs. 84,000 per month.
• The exact amount within this range depends on your qualification and experience as per Institute norms.

Selection Process

Selection is based on your academic record and research background:
