ICAR-CRRI Student Internship Recruitment 2026: Overview
ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (ICAR-CRRI) is offering a Student Internship at its Cuttack campus in Odisha through the Scientific Social Responsibility programme. The internship sits within project EAP-418, which studies the Pr-42 blast-resistance gene from the rice genotype DHR-9 through map-based cloning and functional characterisation. Your engagement is linked to this research project, with hands-on training as its central purpose.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Internship period: The engagement runs for two months from your joining date. Keep this short training period in mind when planning your availability.
- Project-linked appointment: The position ends when the scheme or project finishes, or when the period in your engagement offer ends, whichever happens first. It does not give you a right to a regular position at ICAR-CRRI or ICAR.
- Recruitment changes: The Director can change the number of positions or cancel the recruitment. The Director's decision is final under the terms of this notice.
- Travel costs: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending. You need to plan your visit to Cuttack with this condition in mind.
- Fair conduct: Trying to influence the recruitment can disqualify you. The notice applies this condition to canvassing in any form.
- Communication: The institute will tell selected applicants by email. Make sure you can receive messages at the address you provide.

Preference for applicants who completed their master's degree within the two years before the interview. Relevant work experience in an ICAR institute may also receive preference.
