ICAR CRRI SAA Field Worker Recruitment 2026: Overview
ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (ICAR-CRRI) is hiring a Scientific Administrative Assistant (SAA) / Field Worker for its rice research project at Cuttack, Odisha. Project EAP-312 studies how genomic predictions can help use rice landrace diversity in developing varieties. Its focus is the wider use of rice collections held in gene banks, and your engagement would be tied to this project.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project-linked engagement: The appointment is temporary and ends with the scheme or project. The project is scheduled to run up to 4 March 2027, but it can finish earlier, so you should treat that endpoint as conditional.
- End of service: Your engagement also depends on the period stated in the offer. If that period ends before the project does, your service ends then; the notice uses whichever endpoint comes first.
- No absorption: Taking this assignment does not give you a right to a regular position in ICAR-CRRI or ICAR. The project appointment carries no claim to absorption.
- Recruitment changes: The Director can increase or reduce the positions or cancel the recruitment. The Director's decision is final for this recruitment.
- Travel: You will need to meet your own travel and daily expenses for attending the interview. The institute will not pay TA or DA.
- Conduct: Trying to influence the recruitment through canvassing can disqualify you.

The walk-in venue is ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack, Odisha, with reporting scheduled for 10:00 AM. Late arrivals will not be entertained. Use the institute's prescribed biodata form; the completed form is handed in during certificate checking at the venue.
