HURL Recruitment 2026 – Junior Engineer Assistant, Officer & Assistant Manager

Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) is a public sector company under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. It is a joint venture of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), NTPC Limited, and Coal India Limited (CIL). HURL has announced recruitment for 43 posts across Executive and Non-Unionised Supervisory (NUS) cadres. The advertisement number is E/02/2026.

Executive Cadre (Officer Level):

• Officer (Marketing) – E-1 Grade: 06 posts
• Assistant Manager (Marketing) – E-2 Grade: 03 posts
• Officer (Marketing – Import & Export) – E-1 Grade: 01 post

Non-Unionised Supervisory (NUS) Cadre – L0 Grade:

• Junior Engineer Assistant (II) Grade 2 – Chemical (Operations & Utilities): 08 posts
• Junior Engineer Assistant (II) Grade 2 – Chemical (Ammonia): 05 posts (added via Corrigendum-1)
• Junior Engineer Assistant (II) Grade 2 – UPH Operations: 06 posts
• Junior Engineer Assistant (II) Grade 2 – QA & Inspection (Mechanical): 08 posts
• Junior Engineer Assistant (II) Grade 2 – Instrumentation: 11 posts

Total Vacancies: 43 (revised from 40 via Corrigendum-1)

Salary Details

• Officer – E-1 Grade: Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000 per month | CTC approximately Rs. 14.50 lakh per year
• Assistant Manager – E-2 Grade: Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000 per month | CTC approximately Rs. 18.10 lakh per year
• Junior Engineer Assistant – L0 Grade: Rs. 25,000 – 86,400 per month | CTC approximately Rs. 8.40 lakh per year

You will also get allowances like HRA, Perks, Group Insurance, Performance Related Pay (PRP), and Medical Insurance.

Eligibility – Who Can Apply

For Officer (Marketing) and Assistant Manager (Marketing):

• B.Sc Agriculture + M.Sc Agriculture with 60% marks, OR
• B.Sc Agriculture / B.Tech + MBA / PGDBM with 60% marks in Marketing, Agri-Business, or Rural Management

For Officer (Marketing – Import & Export):

• Same qualifications as above
• Plus at least 2 years of experience in import and export work

For Junior Engineer Assistant – Chemical (Operations & Utilities and Ammonia):

• 3-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, OR
• B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) with minimum 50% marks + 5 years of relevant work experience

For Junior Engineer Assistant – UPH Operations:

• 3-year Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with minimum 50% marks + 5 years of relevant experience

For Junior Engineer Assistant – QA & Inspection (Mechanical):

• 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks + 5 years of relevant experience

For Junior Engineer Assistant – Instrumentation:

• 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field with minimum 50% marks + 5 years of relevant experience

Age Limit (as on 31 December 2025)

• Officer – E-1 Grade: Maximum 30 years
• Assistant Manager – E-2 Grade: Maximum 35 years
• Junior Engineer Assistant – L0 Grade: Maximum 30 years

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates will be given as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process

For Executive posts (Officer and Assistant Manager):

3. Medical Examination

For NUS posts (Junior Engineer Assistant):

2. Written Test and / or Skill Test / Trade Test

Job Location

You can be posted anywhere in India. HURL has fertilizer plants at Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Sindri (Jharkhand), and Barauni (Bihar). The Head Office is in Delhi.

• Carry out plant operations and maintenance work at HURL fertilizer plants as per assigned role
• Monitor and control chemical and mechanical processes to ensure safe and efficient production
• Conduct quality checks and inspections on equipment and materials as per QA standards
• Operate instrumentation and control systems to maintain plant safety and performance
• Handle marketing activities including selling fertilizers and agri-inputs to farmers and distributors
• Build and manage relationships with dealers, distributors, and customers in the assigned territory
• Coordinate import and export activities and manage related documentation (for Import & Export role)
• Maintain proper records, reports, and documentation related to assigned duties
• Follow all safety rules, standard operating procedures, and company guidelines at all times
• Work in shifts and support plant operations as required by the department
