FC Lakhimpur Khiri Counsellor Recruitment 2026: Overview
Family Court (FC), Lakhimpur Khiri is seeking Counsellors for attachment to the court on a contractual basis. The notice follows directions from the Allahabad High Court and the Uttar Pradesh government framework for family-court counsellors. The key distinction is that this engagement does not confer government employee status.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Local connection: The appointing authorities will try to choose someone from the district where the Family Court is located. If a suitable local person is unavailable, a person from another district may be considered.
- Initial tenure: The engagement runs for three years initially. Your name may be considered again for another three-year term on the High Court's recommendation; continuation is not automatic.
- Contractual attachment: You will be attached to the court under a contract. The notice expressly separates this arrangement from appointment to government service, so you should assess it as a fixed-term court engagement.
- Appointment authority: The state government issues the appointment notification on the basis of the High Court's recommendation. Sending your form to the local court is part of this wider appointment arrangement.
