ESIC Jaipur SR and Panchakarma Physician Recruitment 2026: Overview
Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur is recruiting Senior Residents and a Panchakarma Physician for its Laxmi Nagar campus on Ajmer Road. This walk-in drive brings together residency posts across hospital departments and an Ayurveda appointment. Both engagements are contractual and can end when regular doctors join, so you should consider the contract terms before accepting an offer.
Posts and Disciplines
- Senior Residents in clinical departments: The notice covers Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Medical Oncology, Urology, ENT and Endocrinology at the Jaipur hospital.
- NICU and academic departments: Residency posts also cover the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Anatomy, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (FMT), Biochemistry and Physiology.
- Panchakarma Physician: This is the Ayurveda Medical Officer engagement in the same notice. Its contract follows the separate terms set by ESIC Headquarters for this appointment.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Resident tenure: Your initial appointment is for one year. ESIC may renew it annually up to a total of three years, depending on its needs and a satisfactory performance report from the head of your department.
- Physician tenure: The Panchakarma appointment starts with a one-year contract. Any extension follows the applicable ESIC Headquarters rules.
- Ending the contract: Either side may end the engagement with one month's advance notice, without giving a reason.
- Joining agreement: You must sign the contract on stamp paper costing Rs. 500, at your own expense. The hospital keeps the original and gives you a copy.
- Security deposit: At joining, you must provide a Rs. 25,000 demand draft favouring ESIC Fund Account No.1, payable at Jaipur. The hospital refunds it after you complete the engagement and obtain a no-dues certificate; leaving before completion means forfeiting it.
- Practice and leave: Private practice is prohibited. Leave follows Central Government rules adopted by ESIC, and accumulated leave cannot be encashed.
- Hospital discretion: Staffing needs may change, and the Dean may leave posts unfilled or cancel the interview. Canvassing can disqualify you.
- Travel: You must meet your own travel costs for attending the walk-in; ESIC will not pay travel or daily allowances.
Application Submission Notes
Report to Room 207 on the second floor, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Laxmi Nagar, Ajmer Road, Jaipur 302006, at 9:00 AM. Registration closes at 11:00 AM, and interviews begin from that time onward; arriving only for the interview would miss the earlier reporting requirement.
