SCTIMST Project Technical Support II P5517 Recruitment 2026: Overview

Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram, is selecting one Project Technical Support II for the ICMR-funded project Spiral Dx: Real-world Evaluation of an Artificial Intelligence Algorithm for Tremor Detection and Classification from Hand-drawn Spirals [RE-AI-LTI] (project P-5517, notice R&P Cell/41/5517/SCTIMST/2026 dated 05.10.2026). Selection is by walk-in interview on 16 October 2026.

Service Conditions and Caveats

Tenure: temporary, purely on contract, initially for six months, likely to be extended till 21.09.2029 or till the project ends, whichever is earlier.
Vacancy: one existing post, unreserved (UR).
Screening test: depending on the number of candidates, a written test of qualifying nature may be held for initial screening; its marks do not count towards the final ranking.
Age relaxation: up to 5 years for candidates with experience of working in a Government research organisation, in line with ICMR Order No. 16/29/2023/Admn/E.Office No.157401 dated 18.10.2024, point (h).

There is no application form: report for the interview at the ground floor of the AMCHSS Building, SCTIMST, Medical College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram on 16.10.2026. Reporting time is 10.00 AM; the interview starts at 11.30 AM. Bring your bio-data, original certificates and copies of certificates proving age, qualification and experience.

पात्रता मानदंड

न्यूनतम योग्यता

Three-year graduate degree in Life Sciences, Applied and Interdisciplinary Sciences or Physical Sciences from a recognised university, with two years of research experience in Life Sciences or Applied and Interdisciplinary Sciences, or two years of experience in Public Health, Health Research or Health Care.

वांछित योग्यता

Experience in handling research data, particularly in health research.
