ESIC Jaipur Medical Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview
Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur is recruiting Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors on contract at its Laxmi Nagar campus. The drive covers medical science departments and hospital specialties, and it expressly includes retired Army medical teachers. If you qualify for a higher faculty rank, the notice also provides a route to consideration against a lower post with temporary upgradation.

Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract term: The notice describes an initial one-year engagement, with another year possible after satisfactory performance. It also links the contract to the arrival of a regular appointee and states a minimum one-year term for teaching faculty.
- No right to a regular post: A contractual appointment does not give you a right to confirmation or continued employment. ESIC intends to fill these posts through regular appointments.
- Notice period: Either you or ESIC may end the engagement by giving one month's notice, without stating a reason.
- Higher-rank applicants: If you meet the requirements for Professor or Associate Professor, you may be interviewed for the corresponding lower faculty post under the ESIC provisions cited in the notice.
- Temporary upgradation: If selected through that route, your placement depends on your qualifications and the board's recommendation. Any upgradation lasts only for your tenure or until a regular appointee joins the lower post.
- Joining: Be ready to join immediately after receiving an appointment offer. The notice does not promise a later joining window.
- Provisional consideration: Filing an application does not guarantee an interview. Incorrect declarations or false information can lead to cancellation at any stage.
- Hospital discretion: ESIC may change its staffing requirement, move the interview centre or cancel the recruitment. The advertised positions remain provisional.
- Travel costs: No travel or daily allowance is available for attending. You need to arrange your journey and meet those costs yourself.

The walk-in venue is the Dean's Office, second floor, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Laxmi Nagar, Ajmer Road, Jaipur 302006. Report between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, with your application in the prescribed format; applications are accepted on the interview day, and incomplete forms can be rejected.
