Anna University Project Associate-II Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

The Centre for Environmental Studies (CES), Anna University, Chennai is engaging 3 Project Associate-II staff on a temporary basis for six months (Advertisement No. CES/Temporary Staff/2026 dated 16.07.2026). The posts are spread across three separate solid waste management consultancy projects for city municipal corporations in Tamil Nadu, each led by a different Principal Investigator. The contract is for six months, extendable based on performance up to the project period. Final-year M.E./M.Tech students can also apply.

• Solid Waste Management - Biomining of Legacy Waste (Sathuperi, Kagithapattrai and Dharapadavedu dumpsites, Vellore City Municipal Corporation), PI: Dr. B. Manimekalai: 1 post
• Solid Waste Management - Removal of Legacy Waste through Biomining (Pallavaram Lake, Tambaram Corporation), PI: Dr. R. Arulmozhi: 1 post

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.E or B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Energy and Environment, together with M.E or M.Tech in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management.
• Eligible: Final-year M.E./M.Tech students can also apply.
• The qualification and salary are the same for all three posts.

Salary

• Each post pays Rs. 30,000 per month on a consolidated basis.
• No other allowances are mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

Selection has two steps:

1. Screening: Applications are screened based on qualification and experience documents submitted.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview; final selection is based on interview performance.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
