AIIMS Raipur, one of the six AIIMS institutes set up by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), has released a notification for 121 Senior Resident (Non-Academic) posts under the Government of India Residency Scheme. These positions are spread across multiple clinical and non-clinical departments, with specific eligibility for the School of Public Health and for Dentistry. Only online applications through Google Form will be accepted — hard copies or any other mode will be rejected. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: A Postgraduate Medical Degree — MD / MS / DNB / Diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institute.
• For School of Public Health: A postgraduate medical degree — MD/DNB in Community Medicine/PSM.
• For Dentistry: A Postgraduate Degree — MDS in the concerned speciality.
• You are eligible if you have already cleared your qualifying degree exam, or are likely to complete it on or before 31 August 2026.
• If you are working in a Central/State Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Institution, you must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.
• OBC-NCL certificate: Must be based on income for financial year 2024-25, with a declaration that you do not belong to the creamy layer.
• EWS certificate: Must be valid for the year 2026-27, in the format given in the DoPT O.M. dated 31.01.2019.
• SC/ST/OBC certificates must be issued by a Tehsildar or above-rank authority in the Central Government prescribed format.

Note: Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. Meeting the minimum qualification does not automatically entitle you to selection.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 45 years as on 16 August 2026 (last date of receipt of application).
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates get 3 years.
• PwBD Relaxation: General category PwBD candidates get 10 years, OBC-PwBD get 13 years, and SC/ST-PwBD get 15 years.
• Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers (including ECOs/SSCOs) get an additional 5 years of relaxation on top of the above, subject to a minimum of 6 months continuous service.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 67,700 per month under Pay Level 11 (Cell No. 01) of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
• You will also get Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA), where applicable, and other usual allowances.

• Payment mode: NEFT transfer to the AIIMS Raipur bank account (Bank of India, Tatibandh Branch) as given in the notification.

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC follows Central Government rules, with 4% horizontal reservation for PwBD candidates. The Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Raipur reserves the right to vary the number of vacancies, including reserved vacancies, as per Government of India rules and requirements.

Selection Process

Your selection will go through the following steps:

1. Shortlisting: Based on your bio-data, educational qualification, and experience.
2. Screening/Written Test (if required): Conducted only when a large number of applications are received for a post. The exact format — computer-based or offline — will be notified separately on the AIIMS Raipur website.
3. Interview: Held in person at AIIMS Raipur, Tatibandh, G.E. Road, Raipur. No TA/DA is paid for attending.
4. Document Verification: You must bring original certificates, mark sheets, age proof, and category certificates for verification at the time of interview.
