AIIMS Mangalagiri, an autonomous institute of national importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, is hiring 1 Tutor/Demonstrator in the Department of Anatomy on a contractual basis. This advertisement (F. No./AIIMS/MG/Reg/2026-27/Tutor/01, dated 21 April 2026) is for a one-year contractual Tutor/Demonstrator role at AIIMS Mangalagiri, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. The institute was set up under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) and offers teaching and demonstration duties in the Anatomy department. Selection is through interview at the AIIMS Mangalagiri campus.

Who Can Apply?

For Medical Candidates

• Essential: A medical qualification listed in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. You must have completed 1 year of compulsory internship.
• Desirable: MD / MS from a recognised University / Institute in Anatomy.
• Registration: MCI / State Medical Council registration is mandatory before joining.

For Non-Medical Candidates

• Essential: Postgraduate qualification — Master's degree (M.Sc) in Anatomy or an allied subject.
• Desirable: PhD from a recognised University / Institute in Anatomy.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 37 years (as on the closing date — 30 May 2026)
• SC / ST candidates: Up to 5 years relaxation
• OBC candidates: Up to 3 years relaxation
• PwBD candidates: 10 years (General), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)

Salary

• Basic Pay: Rs. 56,100 (Level 10 of the 7th CPC pay matrix)
• Allowances: Usual allowances admissible under rules
• NPA: Non-Practising Allowance for Medical candidates
• Tenure: Contract for 1 year (renewable or terminable as per institute decision)

Selection Process

1. Application Screening: The Screening Committee verifies submitted documents and shortlists eligible candidates for interview.
2. Written Exam (only if needed): If too many candidates apply, an MCQ-based written test in the Anatomy subject will be held first.
3. Interview (Physical mode): Held at the Admin and Library Building, AIIMS Mangalagiri, Guntur District. Reporting at 8:30 AM; document verification from 9:00 AM; interview from 11:00 AM onwards.
4. Document Verification: All originals plus self-attested photocopies are checked before the interview.

4. Take a printout of the filled Annexure I & II and bring the signed original to the interview along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates.

• Teach undergraduate MBBS and other course students in the Department of Anatomy.
• Conduct dissection sessions, histology demonstrations, and embryology classes.
• Prepare teaching aids, lab manuals, and assessments for students.
• Assist faculty in academic, clinical, and research activities of the department.
• Maintain the Anatomy laboratory, museum, and demonstration specimens.
• Take part in postings on rotation, including casualty / OPD / camps as decided by the institute.
• Follow AIIMS Mangalagiri rules of discipline, conduct, and full-time attendance (no private practice).
• Support examination duties, viva voce, and student evaluation activities.
