All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur (AIIMS Jodhpur) has issued Advertisement No. Academics/JR/60/2026-AIIMS.JDH dated 9 June 2026 for Junior Resident Medical posts. This is a 6-month contract appointment under the Government of India Residency Scheme, and the selected doctors will work in clinical departments at AIIMS Jodhpur. Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Qualification: You need an MBBS degree from an institute recognised by the National Medical Commission.
• Internship: You must have completed compulsory rotatory internship by 31 May 2026 and should be ready to show the internship completion certificate.
• Citizenship: The recruitment is open to Indian citizens.
• Medical registration: You should produce registration with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council during document checking.

Salary

• Junior Residents will get entry pay of Rs. 56,100 per month under Level 10 of the pay matrix.
• The pre-revised scale is PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 5,400.
• Medical candidates also get NPA and usual allowances as admissible under rules.

Selection Process

The AIIMS Jodhpur Junior Resident Medical selection has written exam, academic record, document verification, and interview components.

1. Written Examination: MCQ-based test with 35 questions for 35 marks. You will get 30 minutes. There is no negative marking.
2. Academic Record: MBBS academic record carries 30% weightage in the selection criteria.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must report with original documents and one set of self-attested copies on 8 July 2026.
4. Interview: Interview carries 35% weightage. Candidates are called in a 1:3 ratio, meaning three candidates may be called for one post.

Weightage split: written examination 35%, academic record 30%, and interview 35%. The written exam and document verification are scheduled at AIIMS Jodhpur on 8 July 2026, and interviews are scheduled on 9 July 2026 from 10:00 AM.

6. Do not send a hard copy of the online application to AIIMS Jodhpur.
