MANIT Project Technical Support III Recruitment 2026: Overview

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal (MANIT) is recruiting Project Technical Support-III for a research project in its Department of Biological Science and Engineering. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funds the work, which studies glutamate decarboxylase as a target against mycobacterial persistence and drug resistance. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The engagement can run for a maximum of three years or until the project ends, whichever comes first. This is the overall limit for the appointment.
• Initial term: You would initially join for one year. Extension for the remaining project period depends on your performance and the needs of the research.
• Progress reviews: The principal investigator evaluates your progress every six months. Continued engagement therefore depends on review during the project.
• Temporary appointment: The position ends with the project and gives you no claim to a regular appointment at MANIT. Consider that condition when planning a move to Bhopal.
• Doctoral registration: The notice encourages appointees to register for the institute’s Ph.D. programme under its rules. Registration remains subject to institutional norms.
• Travel expenses: No travel or daily allowance is payable for the walk-in. You need to arrange your own travel to the institute.
