  • Deliver lectures, conduct clinical training, and mentor postgraduate students in the assigned specialty
  • Carry out research and publish academic papers in the concerned specialty
  • Provide clinical services and patient care at AIIMS-CAPFIMS Campus

  • Supervise junior faculty, residents, and interns as required
  • Contribute to the administrative and institutional development of AIIMS-CAPFIMS

MBBS with MD/MS or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by NMC/MCI, plus teaching/research experience in the relevant specialty

Additional Professor: 10 years after MD/MS (or 8 years after DM/M.Ch 2-year course, or 7 years after 3-year DM/M.Ch). Associate Professor: 6 years after MD/MS (or 4 years after DM/M.Ch 2-year course, or 3 years after 3-year DM/M.Ch). SC/ST candidates may get up to 1 year relaxation in experience at the discretion of the competent authority.
