Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released a notification for 1 Junior Research Fellow position in the Department of Physics, Institute of Science, under a project funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi. The project is titled "Development of Quantum Dots-based UV Photodetectors" (Project Code P-07/1341) and is sanctioned for three years under Principal Investigator Prof. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project, so your appointment will run alongside the project's funding period. Candidates with research experience in quantum dots-based photodetectors and related fields will be preferred, though this is not compulsory.

Age Limit

• All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• You will get Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA for this fellowship.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection for this fellowship is done through:

1. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email and called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The original copies of all your testimonials must be shown at the time of the interview.
