IICA Research Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), the autonomous institute set up by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, is hiring a Research Associate for its Administration Department at its campus in IMT Manesar, Gurugram (Haryana). IICA works as a government think tank on corporate law, governance, CSR, insolvency and related areas, and runs training for Group 'A' officers and company boards through its schools and centres.

This is a purely contractual post with a fixed consolidated monthly pay. What makes it different from IICA's other research openings is the mix: you will split your time between CSR and sustainability research and the day-to-day administration that keeps research projects running — files, invoices, advances and the Learning Management System. It suits an economics postgraduate, or someone with CA/CS/ICWA articleship, who is comfortable with both data and paperwork.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply.
• Contract: The engagement is contractual and can be extended based on your performance and the institute's needs.
• Pay terms: The pay is consolidated; no DA, transport allowance, HRA, LTC, medical facilities or other benefits are given. Leave follows IICA policy.
• Field travel: Travel to field areas across India for data collection, meetings and business development is a must.
• Articleship counts: Completing CA/CS/ICWA articleship is treated as equal to one year of experience.
• Cut-off date: Your eligibility, qualifications, experience and age are all judged as on the last date for applications; provisional claims are not accepted.
• Health: You must be of sound health and may have to pass a medical check if selected.
• Interview costs: No TA/DA is paid for the interview. Any dispute falls under the courts in Haryana.

You apply through the Google Form link given in the vacancy circular, uploading your CV and a cover letter. Attach self-attested copies of your certificates and mark sheets — an application without them is rejected, and mark sheets alone are not accepted in place of the degree. Do not send originals; bring them only if you are shortlisted.

IICA contacts only shortlisted candidates, who are called for a presentation and/or interview at the IICA campus in Manesar or by video conference.

• Assist senior researchers in planning research projects, literature reviews and data collection on CSR and sustainability
• Gather data from surveys, interviews, databases and secondary sources
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data with Excel and tools such as SPSS or R
• Prepare well-organised data and insights for research reports, articles and presentations
• Keep records, datasheets and content modules updated, and handle office files
• Follow up on invoices and settlement of advances for ongoing and upcoming projects
• Coordinate with the Finance, Administration and IT units and other IICA schools and centres
• Handle and coordinate the Learning Management System
