FACT Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) is taking Graduate and Technician Apprentices for training at Udyogamandal, Kerala. This is a paid training engagement under the Apprentices Act, with separate graduate and diploma streams. Posts and Disciplines

• Graduate Apprentices: The engineering stream covers Computer Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, instrumentation-related disciplines, and Safety and Fire Engineering.
• Technician Apprentices: The diploma stream covers Chemical, Computer, Civil, Electrical or Electrical and Electronics, instrumentation-related disciplines, Mechanical, and Commercial Practice. Commercial Practice appears in this stream alongside the technical disciplines.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Training period: Both streams provide one year of apprenticeship. The training period follows the applicable Apprenticeship Act provisions.
• Kerala restriction: The notice limits consideration to Kerala domiciles registered with the Board of Apprenticeship Training Southern Region. Your registration and residential address must support this condition.
• Reservation: Reservation follows the applicable rules. The notice gives discipline-wise seats, without a separate category-wise seat table.
• Disability consideration: In the graduate stream, FACT considers persons with benchmark disabilities for Computer disciplines. In the diploma stream, the corresponding disciplines are Computer and Commercial Practice.
• Communication: FACT will publish the list of applicants who meet its conditions on its website and inform applicants by email. Keep your email address and phone number accurate in the application so that recruitment messages can reach you.
• Application scrutiny: Incomplete or late applications may be rejected without individual notice. The same applies where supporting certificates are missing or illegible.
• Final decision: FACT retains the final decision on selection matters and may cancel the notification without giving a reason. Changes to this recruitment will appear on its official website.

Use the separate Graduate or Technician Google form named in the notice for your stream. You also need Student registration on the Board of Apprenticeship Training portal, www.mhrdnats.gov.in; keep the registration ID and password available.
