The Centre for Management Development (CMD), Thiruvananthapuram has released a notification (No. CMD/PSU/08/2026) for 3 Senior Research Fellow posts on a two-year contract. These fellows will provide HR management support services to a Kerala PSU that is putting the central government's PM E-DRIVE scheme into action. Preference goes to candidates who already have hands-on experience in the E-mobility segment. If you are an engineering post-graduate in power systems or computer science/AI, or a finance MBA holder, one of these three roles fits you.

Who Can Apply?

Sr. Research Fellow (Power Systems) - Rs. 40,000/month

• Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics and M.Tech in Power Systems Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in the relevant field.

Sr. Research Fellow (Computer Science / AI) - Rs. 40,000/month

• Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical or Computer Science and M.Tech in Computer Science / Data Science / AI.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in the relevant field.

Sr. Research Fellow (Finance) - Rs. 40,000/month

• Qualification: B.Tech in any stream and an MBA in Finance.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in the relevant field.

You must be a citizen of India. Your age and experience are counted as on 1 July 2026.

Salary

• You will get a fixed consolidated pay of Rs. 40,000 per month for all three posts.
• This is a two-year contract role, so the pay is consolidated and not linked to a regular pay scale.

Selection Process

CMD will decide the exact steps based on how many applications come in. The process may include:

2. Written Test / Proficiency Test: A written or skill test may be held if needed.
3. Group Discussion: Used to shortlist candidates when required.
4. Interview: Final selection is based on a personal interview.
