Vikram Dev University (VDU), Jeypore has issued a notification asking 62 Guest Faculty and Retired Assistant Professors — who were earlier disengaged — to give their consent for re-engagement for the 2026-27 academic session. This is a re-engagement notice, not a fresh open recruitment — only the faculty named in the university's list need to respond. The engagement is purely temporary and runs for a maximum of 6 months or until the regular recruitment process is completed.

Who Can Apply?

• You must be a Guest Faculty or Retired Assistant Professor whose name appears in the university's list of disengaged faculty (per Office Orders No. 1127, 1134 and 1176/VDU/26).
• You should be willing to be re-engaged in your subject department for the 2026-27 session.
• You must submit a signed consent agreement in the prescribed format on a Rs. 10 non-judicial stamp paper.

Salary (Honorarium)

• Guest Faculty / Retired Assistant Professors with a Ph.D teaching PG courses: Rs. 1,000 per class, up to 60 classes per month (maximum Rs. 60,000 per month).
• Faculty without a Ph.D teaching UG/PG courses: Rs. 750 per class, up to 60 classes per month (maximum Rs. 45,000 per month).
• You cannot claim any honorarium above this ceiling.
• You are responsible for paying your own income tax and other statutory dues.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no exam. This is a consent-based re-engagement:

1. Submit Consent: Give your signed consent agreement on a Rs. 10 stamp paper before the last date.
2. Re-engagement Order: The university issues the re-engagement order for the 2026-27 session.
3. Quarterly Review: Your continuation depends on your performance during the quarterly review.
