Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), Mumbai, has released Advt. No. VAR/ACA/20/2026 for Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre, Varanasi. The appointment is for a fixed tenure of one year, which may be extended further. Preference will be given to Senior Resident candidates; Medical Officer candidates will be considered only if a suitable Senior Resident is not available.

Who Can Apply?

For Senior Resident

• Qualification: You need an MD/DNB in Pediatrics or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Preference: Experience in Oncology will be preferred.

For Medical Officer

• Qualification: You need an MBBS degree recognized by NMC.
• Selection note: Medical Officer will be considered only if a suitable Senior Resident is not found.

Best fit for this post: This is most useful for doctors who want direct cancer-hospital exposure in pediatric oncology. Senior Resident applicants with MD/DNB Pediatrics will be considered first, while MBBS doctors can be considered for Medical Officer if a suitable Senior Resident is not found.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates
• Age and experience will be counted as on the date of walk-in interview.

Salary

• Senior Resident: Consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 1,33,623
• Medical Officer: Consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 1,11,132
• This is a fixed consolidated salary. Separate allowances are not mentioned in the notice.
