If you have an MBBS with PG Degree / Diploma / DNB in the concerned specialty and are registered with the Delhi Medical Council, you can attend the interview on 2 June 2026 (Tuesday). The age limit is 45 years. The basic pay is in Level-11 of the 7th Pay Commission. The appointment is initially for 89 days or till regular candidates are selected, whichever is earlier.

The Office of the Medical Superintendent, Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya Hospital, Government of NCT of Delhi has issued Advertisement No. 06/2026 for the emergent ad-hoc recruitment of Senior Residents. The vacancies cover four specialties — Radiology, Anaesthesia, Microbiology, and Medicine — and will be filled till regular candidates are selected through the Centralized Committee. All 7 posts are reserved for the OBC category. Candidates must report at the Conference Hall, 3rd Floor of the hospital in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the day of the interview.

Vacancy Breakdown by Specialty

• Anaesthesia: 3 posts (OBC)
• Medicine: 2 posts (OBC)
• Radiology: 1 post (OBC)
• Microbiology: 1 post (OBC)

Note: In case OBC candidates are not available, the posts will be filled from General / Unreserved candidates on ad-hoc basis for 44 days. Only OBC (Delhi) candidates notified by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi get the benefit of OBC reservation; OBC (Outside) candidates will be treated as Unreserved.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MBBS with PG Degree / Diploma / DNB or any other equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty recognised by the Medical Council of India.
• Without PG: If a PG candidate is not available, a Non-PG candidate with at least 2 years of experience in the concerned specialty in a Government or Government-empanelled hospital will be considered.
• Registration: You must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC). Only the qualification incorporated in DMC will be considered.
• Residency Status: You must not have completed three years of Senior Residency already.

Age Limit

• Your age must not exceed 45 years as on the date of interview (2 June 2026).
• PwBD (Divyangjan): Age relaxation is admissible as per Govt. of India rules upon submission of a Handicapped Certificate from the competent authority.

Salary

• Basic Pay in Level-11 of the 7th Pay Commission (approximately Rs. 67,700 entry pay) plus admissible allowances as per Govt. of NCT of Delhi rules.
• You will also get DA, HRA, and other allowances applicable to Delhi government doctors.

Selection Process (Walk-In Interview)

There is no written exam. Selection is based on:

1. Walk-In Interview: Held on 2 June 2026 at the Conference Hall, 3rd Floor, Pt. MMM Hospital, Malviya Nagar.
2. Document Verification: You must carry all original certificates and testimonials along with self-attested copies and 5 passport-size photographs.
3. Medical Fitness: Final appointment is subject to medical fitness and verification of educational qualifications, age, caste, DMC registration, and internship completion certificate.

A panel of waitlisted candidates will also be prepared for filling Senior Resident vacancies that arise in future.

2. After submitting the form you will receive an auto-generated email containing your pre-filled application.
3. Take a printout of the auto-generated application form.
4. Report at the Conference Hall, 3rd Floor, Pt. MMM Hospital, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi-110017 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on 2 June 2026.
5. Carry all original certificates and self-attested photocopies — Class X certificate, MBBS degree and marksheets, PG / DNB / Diploma certificate and marksheets, DMC registration, attempt certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, and 5 passport-size photographs.
6. No candidate will be allowed entry after 11:00 AM.

• Manage ward rounds, OPD duties, and emergency calls as scheduled by the hospital
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the scope of the specialty
• Maintain clinical records, case files, and reports of patients under your care
• Assist consultants and senior doctors during procedures, investigations, and surgeries
• Supervise and guide Junior Residents and interns posted in the department
• Follow the hospital's clinical protocols, infection control guidelines, and Residency Scheme rules
