About This Job

The District Court, Jharsuguda (Odisha) is engaging Group-D staff on a daily-wage basis to support the courts and offices of the Judgeship until regular Group-D recruitment is completed. If you have passed at least Class 7 (M.E. standard) and can read and write Odia, you can apply. This is a purely temporary engagement paid at Rs. 462 per day. District Court, Jharsuguda Group D Recruitment 2026

The District Court, Jharsuguda has issued Notice No. 02 dated 19 May 2026 to engage persons on a daily-wage basis to do Group-D work in the courts and offices of the Judgeship of Jharsuguda. This engagement is purely temporary and can be ended at any time. It is meant to fill the gap until permanent Group-D staff are appointed under the Odisha District & Subordinate Courts Group-D Employees Rules, 2021. The engagement gives no right to claim a regular appointment later.

Who Can Apply?

• You must be a citizen of India.
• You must have passed at least the M.E. standard (Class 7) exam from a recognised institution.
• You must be able to speak, read and write Odia.
• You should have elementary knowledge of English.
• You must be of good character, sound health and free from any bodily defect.

Age Limit

• You must be between 18 and 32 years of age as on 19 June 2026.

Salary

• You will be paid daily wages of Rs. 462 per day (Unskilled Category), as fixed by the Government of Odisha.
• The daily wage rate may be revised from time to time by the Odisha Government.

Selection Process

1. Application Screening: Your application and documents are checked against the eligibility conditions.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates have their certificates verified.

Incomplete applications or those received after the last date will be rejected. The undersigned can reject any application without giving a reason.

2. Attach a self-attested educational certificate, an ID proof (Voter ID / Aadhaar), and two recent passport-size photographs.
3. Attach an undertaking that you will not claim a regular appointment, and a declaration of no criminal record.
4. Submit the application in person or by post to the Office of the Registrar, Civil Courts, Jharsuguda.
5. Your application must reach by 5:00 PM on 19 June 2026.
