Project Scientist-I and Project Scientist-III

Research Associate (P)

  • Ph.D in Biological Sciences with experience in algae biotechnology

Candidates with valid NET/GATE qualification get a higher stipend for several PAT-I and PAT-II codes.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age is 35 years for most Project Associate and Project Scientist-I posts.
  • Maximum age is 40 years for Senior Project Associate and Research Associate posts.
  • Maximum age is 45 years for Project Scientist-III posts.
  • The age limit is counted as on the date of the walk-in interview.
  • Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/Women and PwBD candidates get relaxation as per Government of India and CSIR rules.

  • Project Assistant-II: Rs. 20,000 per month + 30% HRA
  • Project Associate-I: Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA (Rs. 31,000 + HRA with NET/GATE)
  • Project Associate-II: Rs. 28,000 per month + HRA (Rs. 35,000 + HRA with NET/GATE)
  • Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000 per month + HRA
  • Research Associate (P): Rs. 58,000 per month + 30% HRA
  • Project Scientist-I: Rs. 56,000 per month + HRA
  • Project Scientist-III: Rs. 78,000 per month + HRA

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written test. Selection is based on:

  1. Walk-in Interview: You appear in person on your position code's date.
  2. Skill Test: A skill test may be held for suitable posts, if applicable.
  3. Document Verification: You must bring all original certificates for checking.

Candidates without the prescribed documents will not be allowed to attend the interview. Result-awaited or final-semester candidates are not eligible where the essential qualification is mandatory.
