CEIL Engineer and Officer Recruitment 2026 - 85 Posts

Certification Engineers International Limited (CEIL), a Government of India undertaking and wholly owned subsidiary of Engineers India Limited, has released a fixed-term contract notice for experienced technical and support personnel. The recruitment covers project sites, CEIL offices, and Mumbai office roles, and the contract is initially for 1 year, extendable based on requirement and performance. Engineering inspection experience is the biggest requirement for most posts, especially in oil and gas, offshore, refinery, pipeline, fabrication, electrical, instrumentation, civil, safety, tendering, and office support work.

Who Can Apply?

QA/QC Engineering Posts

• Qualification: Engineering Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline with at least 50% marks.
• Experience: Degree holders need 2 to 15 years depending on grade; diploma holders need 6 to 20 years depending on grade.
• Mechanical/Production requirement: ASNT Level-II in UT, RT, MPT, and PT is mandatory. ASNT Level-III, CSWIP 3.1, or PAUT is preferred.
• E&I preference: NACE Level-I or Level-II is preferred for Electrical and Instrumentation candidates.

Other Officer and Associate Posts

• Safety Officer: Engineering graduate in any branch or technology with 50% marks plus degree/diploma in Industrial Safety and 10 years experience.
• Marketing, Contract and Purchase, Office Management: Relevant engineering degree or diploma with 6 years experience.
• HR Associate: Graduate in any discipline with Diploma in Personnel Management, minimum 50% marks, and 5 years experience.
• Computer knowledge: CEIL says applicants should have computer knowledge.

Age Limit

• Officer Grade-I: Up to 35 years for degree holders and 40 years for diploma holders.
• Officer Grade-II: Up to 40 years for degree holders and 45 years for diploma holders.
• Officer Grade-III: Up to 45 years for degree holders and 50 years for diploma holders.
• Officer Grade-IV: Up to 55 years.
• HR Associate Grade-II: Up to 45 years.
• Reference date: Age and experience are counted as on 30 April 2026.
• Relaxation: SC, ST, OBC, PwD, EWS, and Ex-Servicemen relaxation will be as per Government of India rules. PwD candidates with 40% or more disability get 10 years upper-age relaxation.

Salary

• HR Associate Grade-II: Rs. 41,821 per month.
• Officer Grade-I: Rs. 53,625 per month.
• Officer Grade-II: Rs. 66,300 per month.
• Officer Grade-III: Rs. 80,925 per month.
• Officer Grade-IV: Rs. 94,195 per month.
• Note: The consolidated salary is calculated with HRA for an X-class city and may change based on posting location.

Selection Process

CEIL will shortlist applicants based on application details, education, age, and experience. The notice states that shortlisted applicants will be informed by email about the interview or written test schedule.

2. Written Test: The HR Associate/Associate category selection will be through written test; CEIL has not given the question count, marks, or duration.
3. Interview: Other shortlisted applicants may be called for interview at CEIL office in Navi Mumbai or through an online mode if CEIL decides.
4. Document Verification: Original certificates and attested photocopies will be checked before interview or written test.
5. Medical Fitness: Selected applicants need a medical fitness certificate from a government or company-nominated hospital at joining.
