Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Jhansi (CARI Jhansi), under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences and the Ministry of AYUSH, has issued a walk-in notice for a Yoga Therapist position. Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification Route 1

• Degree route: You need a degree in Yoga or Yoga and Naturopathy with at least 55% marks from a recognised university.
• Experience: You also need at least 2 years of Yoga Therapy experience in a reputed institute or hospital.

Essential Qualification Route 2

• Graduate plus diploma route: You can also apply if you are a graduate from a UGC-recognised university and have a post-graduation Yoga diploma of at least 1 year duration.
• Marks and experience: The diploma route needs 55% marks and at least 5 years of practical Yoga experience in a reputed Yoga institute or hospital.

Other Required and Preferred Skills

• YCB certificate: Level-II Therapy Level certificate for YCB is required.
• Skill test: You should be ready to demonstrate Yogic practices during the selection process.
• Preferred experience: Traditional Yoga Therapy work from an institute of national repute or hospital is preferred.
• Useful skills: Computer operation, English fluency, and working knowledge of Hindi, English, and Sanskrit are helpful.
• Research exposure: Experience in Yoga Therapy research projects or case studies will be useful for this project.

Salary

• The selected Yoga Therapist will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 38,000 per month.
• The appointment is on a temporary contractual project basis and does not create any claim for regular appointment.
• The notice does not mention separate DA, HRA, or other allowances for this post.
