Digital India BHASHINI Division (DIBD), an Independent Business Division under Digital India Corporation (DIC), has released advertisement No. N/350/2024-DIC/02 for the post of Engagement Manager handling the North East Region. BHASHINI is the National Language Translation Mission launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister in July 2022, working with IITs and IIITs to build language AI models for Indian languages. This is a purely contract/consolidated position, and the role demands strong consulting and IT solutions sales experience with a focus on government engagements.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• You must have a Full-time B.S. / B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent degree, OR a B.Sc. (IT/CS) with a Post Graduation in a Technical Background.
• MBA / M.Tech is preferable.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT solutions sales or consulting, with a strong focus on large-value items.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing technical proposals.
• Prior experience in a government-facing role (Central or State Government proposals) is highly desirable.
• Exposure to startup environments and policy-level innovation sprint execution is a significant advantage.

Other Requirements

• Preference will be given to candidates who are natives of the North East Region and fluent in a regional language.
• Formal qualifications and experience may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
• You must be willing to travel extensively across the region.
