Who Can Apply?

Project Research Scientist II (Medical) - Rs. 1,04,000/month

• Qualification: MBBS or BDS with three years' post-qualification research experience, OR
• MBBS/BDS with a Post Graduate Degree (MD/MDS in Community Dentistry) or MPH, OR
• MBBS with PhD, or BDS with MPH and PhD

Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical) - Rs. 75,000/month

• Qualification: Post Graduate Degree or PhD in Biostatistics or Demography
• Desirable: Experience in demography studies and managing large cohorts

Programmer - Rs. 70,000/month

• Qualification: Master's degree in Computer Application, Information Technology, or Computer Science from a recognised institution/university, OR
• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology, or Information Technology from a recognised institution/university
• Required Experience: Two years' hands-on experience in Express/Python/Flutter programming in Government, autonomous, or PSU organisations
• Desirable Skills: Excellent command on Express/FastAPI, Flutter, PostgreSQL, Ubuntu. Experience in REST API development, Offline First workflows, data collection, MVC application development, and understanding of security and confidentiality requirements of a research system. Experience with REDCAP or ODKCentral API is an advantage
• Candidates must bring a sample copy of self-developed projects to demonstrate code and behaviour during the interview

• Project Research Scientist II (Medical): 25 to 40 years
• Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical): 18 to 35 years
• Programmer: 18 to 35 years

Salary

• Project Research Scientist II (Medical): Rs. 1,04,000 per month
• Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical): Rs. 75,000 per month
• Programmer: Rs. 70,000 per month
• All posts are purely on temporary contract basis under the funded project

Selection Process

Selection is purely interview-based. There is no written exam.

3. For Programmer post: You must demonstrate a sample project you built independently — bring code and explain its behaviour during the interview.

• Conduct field research on late fetal and neonatal mortality in the Ballabgarh, Faridabad, and Delhi study area
• Manage data collection, cleaning, and analysis for the demography cohort under the project
• Develop and maintain offline-first mobile and web applications using Express, FastAPI, Flutter, and PostgreSQL (Programmer)
• Build secure REST APIs and write technical documentation including DFDs and SRS (Programmer)
• Apply biostatistics and demography methods to analyse large cohort datasets (PRS I Non-Medical)
• Provide medical research expertise on community medicine and public health outcomes (PRS II Medical)
• Coordinate with the Principal Investigator, Dr. Harshal Ramesh Salve, on study design and reporting
• Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines for the research system
