Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior (ABV-IIITM Gwalior) has released a JRF advertisement dated 15 June 2026 under an M.P. Council of Science & Technology sponsored research project. The project is connected with deep learning methods for pulmonary nodule detection and risk characterisation in early lung cancer screening. This is a temporary research position for candidates who want to work on AI/ML, medical imaging, computer vision, and healthcare technology.

The appointment is initially for one year. It may continue further till completion of the project, based on satisfactory performance reviewed every 6 months. The project team includes Prof. K. V. Arya as PI, with Dr. Sunil Kumar and Dr. Divya Gautam as Co-PIs.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Degree: You need a master's degree in engineering, technology, electronics, mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the institute.
