ZP Raigarh Programmer and Accountant Recruitment 2026: Overview

Zila Panchayat Raigarh in Chhattisgarh is filling contract posts of Computer Programmer, Programme Officer, Assistant Programmer and Accountant under the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin), known as VB-G RAM G. The posts sit at the district and janpad panchayat level in Raigarh and the newly formed Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district. The State Commissioner of VB-G RAM G cleared these vacancies through letters dated August 2026, along with fresh rules on qualifications and merit marks.

This is a contractual engagement, not a regular government post. Selection is on merit marks plus a computer practical test, so your degree percentage matters a lot. If you have an IT, management or commerce degree and some experience in government rural development schemes, this drive suits you well.

Posts and Disciplines

• Computer Programmer: the senior IT post of the mission for engineering or MCA graduates; knowledge of Dot Net, Java, MS SQL or Oracle gets preference and extra marks.
• Programme Officer: a planning and monitoring post open to management, engineering, rural technology (MRTM) or Maths/Physics post-graduates.
• Assistant Programmer: data and software support posts for computer science and IT graduates; you must score at least 60 percent in the computer practical test.
• Accountant: accounts posts for commerce graduates, where your Class 12 marks also count towards merit.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Domicile: Only native (mool niwasi) residents of Chhattisgarh can apply, with a self-attested domicile certificate from the competent authority.
• Employment exchange: You must hold a live employment exchange registration and attach its certificate.
• Contract tenure: The contract runs until 28 February 2027. After that, it can be extended by mutual consent based on need, conduct and your Annual Performance Appraisal.
• Service rules: You will be governed by the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules, 2012 and the Conduct Rules, 1965. Either side can end the contract with one month's notice or one month's pay.
• No retirement benefits: Contract service carries no pension, gratuity or death benefits.
• Experience marks: Experience counts only if it was in a government rural development scheme at an equal or higher pay, and the certificate shows the issuing office, order number, pay and scheme name along with a bank statement.
• Shortlisting: If applications cross 10 times the vacancies, only the top 10 candidates per post go to the next stage. Ties are broken in favour of the older candidate.
• Waiting list: The merit list stays valid for one year and later vacancies are filled from it.
• Working candidates: If you already work in a government or private organisation, attach a No Objection Certificate.

Send the form only by registered post or speed post to the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat Raigarh (C.G.); hand delivery and other modes are not accepted. Apply separately for each post, write the post name clearly on the envelope, and attach a blank self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 5 postal stamp.
