Palnadu OSC Macherla Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

The District Women and Child Welfare and Empowerment Office (DW&CW&EO), Palnadu is hiring staff for the One Stop Centre (OSC) at Macherla, where women can get legal counselling and medical assistance. The posts are filled under the Mission Shakti guidelines of the Women Development and Child Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh. This drive is open only to local women candidates, and every post is on a contract basis.

Posts and Disciplines

• Case Worker: for women with a background in law, social work, sociology, social science or psychology who have worked on women-related issues in a government or non-government programme.
• Para Legal Personnel / Lawyer: covers legal counselling at the centre when the District Legal Services Authority has not provided a legal advisor; open to women with a law degree or legal training, or to a practising lawyer with court experience.
• Paramedical Personnel: covers medical assistance when the District Health Authorities have not posted regular paramedical staff; needs a paramedical degree or diploma and a health-sector background.

Post-wise Duties

Case Worker

The notice prefers a Case Worker who is a resident of the local community, so the centre can use local people and know-how to run smoothly.

Para Legal Personnel / Lawyer

You will provide the legal counselling services of the centre to the women it serves.

Paramedical Personnel

You will provide the medical assistance services of the centre to the women it serves.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Women only: Only female local candidates are eligible for these posts.
• Contract engagement: All posts are purely on contract, and the staff are engaged as per the Mission Shakti guidelines.
• Shortlisting: Only qualified, shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview, and the top-ranked candidates will be considered for selection.
• Late applications: Applications received after the due date will not be considered.
• Right to cancel: The Collector and District Magistrate, Palnadu can cancel the notification at any time without giving reasons.
