MIMUL Management Trainee Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Midnapore Co-operative Milk Producers' Union Ltd. (MIMUL), an Operation Flood dairy project of the Government of West Bengal based at Ashok Nagar, Midnapore, is hiring for a project-specific contractual engagement. Most openings are for Management Trainees who will work either in the villages building dairy co-operatives or at the union's milk chilling plants, with a few accounts and sales roles alongside. Graduates with hands-on dairy experience get priority, so this is a good fit if you have worked with a village milk society.

Posts and Disciplines

• Management Trainee – Field Extension Activity: open to graduates in any discipline; experience as a secretary or milk tester at a Dairy Co-operative Society, or in milk procurement, is given priority.
• Management Trainee – Plant Operation: for science graduates; experience in milk chilling plant or dairy plant operation, or milk testing, gets priority.
• Account Assistant / Jr. Account Assistant: a B.Com post that needs at least two years of hands-on Tally experience; pay is negotiable.
• Executive (Sales): for graduates with two years of experience selling packet milk and milk products of reputed brands; an MBA or BBA earns extra weightage and pay is negotiable.

Post-wise Duties

Management Trainee – Field Extension Activity

You will survey villages, assess milk production and surplus, and check whether a new Dairy Co-operative Society can be formed. You will also hold awareness meetings, run AMCU milk testing, and guide societies on board meetings and accounts.

Management Trainee – Plant Operation

You will receive, test and record milk from the societies, run the Bulk Milk Cooling Units, and keep the plant clean and hygienic. Keeping good relations with farmers and societies and filing reports is part of the job.

Account Assistant / Jr. Account Assistant

You will handle Tally entries, billing software and bill generation, ledger posting, and the verification and release of payments.

Executive (Sales)

You will market MIMUL milk and milk products, manage distributors and retailers, chase sales targets, recover sales proceeds, and send market reports on prices and feedback to the union.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: every post starts as a one-year contract; any extension depends on satisfactory performance.
• Shortlisting: only shortlisted candidates are called for interview, based on your Madhyamik, Higher Secondary and graduation marks. Vocational and distance-mode courses are not counted.
• Interview details: the venue, date and time are sent only to shortlisted candidates.
• No TA/DA: you pay your own travel to attend the interview.
• Leave: the Milk Union's own leave rules apply to these contractual staff.
