DCCM Tiruppur Technical Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview

The District Climate Change Mission (DCCM), Tiruppur is looking for a Technical Assistant to work from the Tiruppur District Collectorate. The mission follows the guidelines of Tamil Nadu's Department of Environment and Climate Change, and this person acts as the bridge between the state-level department and the district mission. It is a purely contractual engagement for a 19-month period sanctioned by the government, not a permanent post.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Local residents only: You must be a resident of Tiruppur District to apply.
• Contract only: The engagement is purely contractual and gives no right to a regular government appointment later.
• Experience gets first preference: Candidates with at least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in a government department or office, are considered first. Freshers can still apply.
• Bilingual typing: You need basic typewriting skills in both Tamil and English, and a typing test is part of the selection.
• Travel: Official travel for Department of Environment and Climate Change activities is part of the job and follows government norms.
• Waiting list: A waiting list of 2–3 candidates will be kept as per the DCCM guidelines.
• No travel allowance for the test: You will not get TA/DA for attending the typing test or interview.
