AMU Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: Overview

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is filling Senior Resident posts at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) under its Faculty of Medicine in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Temporary engagement: The appointment is purely temporary and can be ended at any time without notice or reason.

• Cut-off for eligibility: Your qualifications and experience are counted as on the last date of submission.
• No call letters: AMU will not send any separate interview letter; the selection committee schedule in the advertisement is the only notice you get.
• Documents are mandatory: Forms without self-attested copies of your certificates are rejected outright, and so are plain-paper applications.
• Bring a NOC if employed: Working doctors need a No Objection Certificate from their current employer or relieving orders from past employers.
• Shortlisting and medical check: The university may shortlist applicants before the interview and may get selected candidates examined by its Internal Medical Board.
• PwD candidates: Posts for PwD need at least 40% disability, proved through the certificate format in Appendix-I on the Careers Portal.

Apply online on the AMU Careers Portal (careers.amuonline.ac.in) and pay the processing fee there. Then print the PDF of your form on A4 paper, sign it, paste a recent photograph and attach self-attested copies of your documents.

Post the hard copy to The Office of the Dean, J. N. Medical College, Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-202002, so that it reaches by 4:00 p.m. on 2 November 2026.
