Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is hiring Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) staff for an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)-funded medical-device project at Kandi, Sangareddy, Telangana. The project combines artificial intelligence (AI), near-infrared (NIR) stereovision and depth mapping in a portable 3D vein viewer. It aims to help clinicians locate veins for intravenous access and jugular cannulation in patients for whom these procedures are difficult, bringing imaging, embedded hardware and clinical collaboration into the same research effort.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: You would join on an initial 11-month engagement, with the start planned as soon as possible. The notice allows an extension for another three years, depending on your performance and available project funding.
