Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) is hiring a Scientific Administrative Assistant for its Dynamic Research Ecosystem in Advanced Materials (DREAMS) consortium in Rupnagar, Punjab. This contractual role supports the ANRF funded PAIR project, with IIT Ropar acting as the consortium hub. DREAMS brings the institute together with partner institutions for collaborative research on functional and structural materials, linking its work to areas such as energy, microelectronics, structural design and advanced manufacturing.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project setting: DREAMS combines research, education and capacity building across its partner institutions. The notice describes a collaborative network intended to respond to emerging materials-research needs and grow beyond its initial partners.
• Initial appointment: Your first appointment will be for three months. The notice allows later extensions on a yearly basis, depending on your performance.
• Project-linked tenure: The project runs for four years, but this does not guarantee an appointment for that whole period. The post ends with the project.
• Governing conditions: Recruitment terms follow the guidelines of DST-SERB and IIT Ropar. These conditions apply alongside the terms stated in the recruitment notice.
