IITM Project Research Scientist II Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) is hiring a Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) for its Department of Medical Sciences and Technology in Chennai. The contractual role belongs to an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) project on tuberculosis diagnostics and therapeutics, coordinated by Prof. Narayanan Madaboosi Srinivasan.
The project is titled ICMR Centre for Advanced Research – ICMR-NIRT CCR for Tuberculosis Diagnostics & Therapeutics. Its focus connects laboratory assay development with testing platforms, so your work sits within a defined research programme rather than a general institute appointment.
