Who Can Apply?

Medical Officer 'G' (Anaesthesiology) - Level 13A:

• Qualification: M.D. / D.N.B. (Anaesthesia) or an equivalent PG degree recognized by the National Medical Commission.
• Experience: 13 years' post-M.D./D.N.B. experience in Anaesthesia in a teaching hospital. Critical care and pain management experience is desirable.

Medical Officer 'F' (Interventional Radiology) - Level 13:

• Qualification: D.M. (Interventional Radiology) OR M.D./D.N.B. (Radio-diagnosis) or an equivalent PG degree.
• Experience: 5 years post-D.M. (for D.M. holders) or 8 years post-M.D./D.N.B.

Medical Officer 'E' posts (Critical Care, Medical Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Pathology, Surgical Oncology) - Level 12:

• Qualification: D.M./M.Ch. or M.D./D.N.B. in the respective specialty, recognized by the National Medical Commission.
• Experience: 0-3 years' post-qualification experience depending on the specialty and degree held.

Officer-in-Charge (Dispensary) - Level 10:

• Qualification: B.Pharm with a PG Diploma/Degree in Material Management or Business Administration, OR MBBS with a PG Diploma/Degree in Material Management or Business Administration.
• Experience: 4-10 years depending on your qualification, including senior-position experience in a large hospital.

Assistant Dietician (Food Service) - Level 06:

• Qualification: M.Sc. (Food Science & Nutrition) or M.Sc./M.A. (Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics / Home Science) or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year after your PG degree. Registered Dieticians with oncology nutrition experience are preferred.

Age Limit

• Age limit varies by post: 55 years for Medical Officer 'G', 50 years for Medical Officer 'F', 45 years for Medical Officer 'E' posts, 40 years for Officer-in-Charge (Dispensary), and 30 years for Assistant Dietician.
• Age and experience will be counted as on 10 August 2026.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD (plus 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC PwBD candidates), and length of service plus 3 years for Ex-servicemen. TMC employees and contract staff get up to 5 years relaxation.
• Age relaxation for reserved categories does not apply where a post is open only to the unreserved category.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary between Rs. 35,400 and Rs. 1,31,100 per month depending on the post, under Levels 06 to 13A of the 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix.
• You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per TMC rules, plus medical facility, subsidised accommodation (subject to availability), and retirement benefits under the New Pension Scheme.

• SC / ST / Female / PwBD / Ex-servicemen (applying for a civil post for the first time): No fee.
• The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Selection Process

The selection process is different for the two groups of posts:

1. Medical Officer and Officer-in-Charge posts (Sr. No. 1-8): Selection is through Interview only — there is no written exam for these posts.
2. Assistant Dietician posts (Sr. No. 9-10): Selection is through a Written Examination (100 marks, MCQ or MCQ & Subjective) based on your area of specialization, followed by an Interview.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must carry original documents plus one set of photocopies for date of birth, qualification, experience, caste and disability certificates.

• Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up care
