PU Post Doctoral Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview
Panjab University (PU) is offering a Post Doctoral Fellowship at its University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Chandigarh. The fellowship belongs to the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT, Phase II, with support from Digital India Corporation under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

PhD in CSE/IT/ECE from a recognized university; first class or equivalent in all preceding degrees and a consistently good academic record. PhD awarded within 5 years before the application closing date and not from UIET, Panjab University.

You need a PhD in CSE, IT or ECE, awarded within 5 years before the closing date, and first class or equivalent in all preceding degrees. Your PhD must not be from UIET, Panjab University; the notice also sets academic-record, mentor, citizenship and employment conditions.
Complete the prescribed UIET application form and upload it through the Google Form named in the official notice. Include your research proposal.
The monthly fellowship is Rs. 1,08,393. You may also receive contingency and travel support under scheme conditions.
