Pre-2009 Ph.D. holders count only if the degree was earned in regular mode, the thesis had two external examiners, an open viva was held, two papers came out of the work (one in a refereed journal) and two conference presentations were made — all certified by the Registrar or Dean (Academic Affairs).
• Other desirable points: Papers in refereed or UGC-CARE listed journals and teaching, research or industry experience in a reputed organisation will help your case.
• Interview call: Only eligible candidates are contacted, and the centre will inform them by phone and email, so keep both active.
• Travel costs: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview, so plan your trip to Bajwara at your own expense.
