Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV), Akola is recruiting contractual faculty, an instructor, a librarian and hourly teachers for the College of Agriculture at Mul in Chandrapur district. Post-wise Duties

Contractual Assistant Professors

You will teach the courses allotted to your agricultural discipline, conduct mid-term, theory and practical examinations, evaluate answer books and submit results. The assignment also includes course-related office work at the College of Agriculture, Mul.

Physical Education Instructor

You will deliver physical-education instruction and support the college's scheduled student activities. The role sits within the same temporary academic arrangement as the subject teachers.

Assistant Librarian

You will support library services and academic access for students and faculty at the Mul campus. Your work should keep learning material organised and available for teaching needs.

Hourly Mathematics and English Teachers

You will teach the allotted subject during one semester and handle the connected examination, evaluation and result work. These posts are paid by class and do not follow the monthly faculty arrangement.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: Assistant Professor, instructor and librarian engagements run for up to eleven months, while hourly teaching is for six months.
• Temporary status: The appointment gives no claim to a regular PDKV post and may end earlier if a permanent post is filled, the tenure finishes or performance is not satisfactory.
• Interview shortlist: Applications are scrutinised first, and the college plans to call shortlisted candidates in a 1:5 ratio.
